Cláudio Eiró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rogério Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Eiró showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Ramos in the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Lokomotiv Azambuja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeferino Flores to maneuver through the defense. Carvalhicas FC's Paulo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Carvalhicas FC from getting a goal against them. Amílcar Delgado charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 26thth minute of the game Bernardo Guarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lokomotiv Azambuja FC's Cláudio Eiró was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute David Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Eiró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Carvalhicas FC's goalkeeper Paulo Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Faria. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Vicente Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Azambuja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Eiró didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. The Lokomotiv Azambuja FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carvalhicas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Carvalhicas FC.
