Diamantino Valadão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Monteiro in the 10th minute. With a little luck, SC Alcantarilha's Diamantino Valadão got control of the ball when Gil Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gil Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Valadão was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Jorge Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Valadão having to interfere. Diamantino Valadão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Monteiro got free with Diamantino Valadão in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Aleixo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Aleixo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bebedouro getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Luís Aleixo hit a great ball. Filipe Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Monteiro got free with Diamantino Valadão in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diamantino Valadão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Borba in the 33rd minute of the match. Gil Monteiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Valadão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, SC Alcantarilha's Nélson Rodrigues got a free kick in the 44th minute. Cristóvão Freitas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Diamantino Valadão right hand side. After a rather tough play, SC Alcantarilha's José Curado got a free kick in the 48th minute. In the 49th minute of the match, Gil Monteiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diamantino Valadão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The wind increased when Gil Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. Gil Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alcino Vaz during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes SC Alcantarilha got a freekick which was hit by Alcino Vaz. Jorge Borba struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Diamantino Valadão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bebedouro. SC Alcantarilha's Diamantino Valadão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Borba in the 71st minute of play. When Alcino Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SC Alcantarilha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alcino Vaz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bebedouro's Luís Aleixo got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Monteiro in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Valadão saved SC Alcantarilha from getting behind. Diamantino Valadão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Diamantino Valadão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Aleixo in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Gil Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Diamantino Valadão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bebedouro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
