With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabiano Quintanilha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Rui Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Setúbal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Daia FC booed when Conguedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Menezes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Conguedo's Fabiano Quintanilha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Albuquerque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. There was no doubt that Conguedo were the better team. Conguedo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
