In the 8th minute, Rodolfo Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gamacha FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. André Freitas hit a great ball. Gamacha FC's Leonardo Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Gamacha FC from getting a goal against them. Inocencio Rutenio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pingas Atletico Clube's António Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Prada in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, João Balsemão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gamacha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute, Cristóvão Prada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After having played for 27 minutes, Cyryl Piatek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pingas Atletico Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Piatek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 played minutes Gamacha FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Domingues. In the 30th minute, Cristóvão Prada made a precise shot to the right of António Cruz. Pingas Atletico Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 36th match minute, Pingas Atletico Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Norberto Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Cruz came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gamacha FC's Norberto Cabral. But to his dismay, Norberto Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Norberto Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Rutenio to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pingas Atletico Clube's zone, João Balsemão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Cruz came out of the goal and João Balsemão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Norberto Cabral could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which António Cruz however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristóvão Prada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving António Cruz. That made the score 0-6 in the 58 minute of play. Pingas Atletico Clube's António Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Prada in the 65th minute of play. When Norberto Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Gamacha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Cabral couldn't finish the play. After 69 played minutes Pingas Atletico Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Amaral. In the 72ndth minute of the game Inocencio Rutenio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gamacha FC's Leonardo Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pingas Atletico Clube's Rodrigo Fernandes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodolfo Domingues in the 83 minute of the game. António Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Balsemão, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Norberto Cabral got a very nice opportunity to score, but António Cruz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Inocencio Rutenio struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Leonardo Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pingas Atletico Clube. António Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Prada in the 94th minute of play.
