Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Barroselas F.C's Tanek Plucinik got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Israel Leme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barroselas F.C's António Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. António Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Witold Osowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Ferrão came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Barroselas F.C's Armando Viana. But to his dismay, Armando Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Witold Osowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Ferrão. SC Salgueiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Osowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Rui Assunção reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Ferrão. The goal made the score 3-1. If Witold Osowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Assunção's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Ferrão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Witold Osowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Carlos Ferrão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rui Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Assunção stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Leme in the 57th minute of play forced Barroselas F.C's goalkeeper António Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Assunção might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Ferrão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Assunção ran back to his position shaking his head. Witold Osowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match António Matias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Ferrão skillfully saved the ball. Israel Leme in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of António Leiria, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Barroselas F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristóvão Baldaia 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-2. In the 92nd match minute, SC Salgueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Leme to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Witold Osowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ferrão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
