Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Seara's José Brás started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Mogoito's Torcato Fernandes got control of the ball when Nuno Moutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nuno Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Nuno Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torcato Fernandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mogoito defense, Nuno Moutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torcato Fernandes. The Mogoito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torcato Fernandes should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Brás got free with Torcato Fernandes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Mogoito's goalkeeper Torcato Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Moutinho. After 33 minutes, Rui Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seara and the Mogoito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Seara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Barros hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Patrício Caneira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for António Amorim. Seara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristiano Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mogoito booed when Seara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Martins's late challenge caught a Mogoito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Martins helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Seara got a freekick which was hit by João Martins. 60 minutes into the match, Américo Mendes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mogoito's Torcato Fernandes. Torcato Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristiano Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Mendes scored 3-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torcato Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mogoito's Torcato Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Pacheco in the 68th minute of play. José Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Mogoito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Cesário to maneuver through the defense. José Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torcato Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Brás's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Torcato Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Seara getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nuno Moutinho hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Américo Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rui Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Seara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Ferreira couldn't finish the play. If Américo Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Brás in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torcato Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Pacheco took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torcato Fernandes. Torcato Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Seara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
