After some careless play in the Sanfins FC defense, Rogério Viegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandro Valério. The Sanfins FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandro Valério should have stopped the shot. Vítor Neto succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Alexandre Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Coimbra in the 30th minute of play. Fabrício Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrício Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sanfins FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. After 33 played minutes, Arca FC's Gustavo Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandro Valério came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arca FC reached it. In the 35th match minute, Arca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Lima to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Vítor Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Valério breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rogério Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Vítor Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Valério. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vítor Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Bruno Lima in the 57th minute really tested Sandro Valério's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rodolfo Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Gois in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Coimbra in the 72nd minute of play forced Arca FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Neto in the 82nd minute of play forced Sanfins FC's goalkeeper Sandro Valério to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Gustavo Gois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arca FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
