Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Catarino Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. Gil Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Maia in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, SC Choqueira's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Fonseca came free, but Gil Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When André Neves came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SC Choqueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Neves couldn't finish the play. Gil Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SC Choqueira defense, Manuel Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Marques. The SC Choqueira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Marques should have stopped the shot. When SC Choqueira's André Neves in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Regatos's goalie prevented a goal. André Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bento Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bento Leiria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Neves in the 35th minute. If André Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game André Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Regatos's Bento Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aprígio Maia made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Manuel Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aprígio Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Manuel Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Marques having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Manuel Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Marques. SC Choqueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Manuel Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Afonso Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gil Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If André Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Leiria having to interfere. After 91 played minutes SC Regatos got a freekick which was hit by Josué Trindade. After recieving a nice pass, SC Choqueira's Sebastião Moutinho tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, André Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Choqueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
