Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Machado FC's Josué Castilho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Belver's Joaquim Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute Alexandre Ferrão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Machado FC booed when SC Belver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, SC Belver's Frederic Seurin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Cristiano Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Machado FC's goalkeeper Bogumil Gejda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Álvaro Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Castilho's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Silvinho Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogumil Gejda. Machado FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvinho Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some careless play in the SC Belver defense, Alexandre Ferrão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Amaral. The SC Belver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Amaral should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, SC Belver's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Ferrão came free, but Álvaro Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Ferrão in the 38th minute of play forced SC Belver's goalkeeper Álvaro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Amaral came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Machado FC's Alexandre Ferrão. But to his dismay, Alexandre Ferrão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Valente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Álvaro Amaral. That made the score 2-4 in the 60 minute of play. Alexandre Ferrão came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Álvaro Amaral could save by the left post. Cristiano Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristiano Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Frederic Seurin took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogumil Gejda. Bogumil Gejda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Silvinho Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bogumil Gejda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Machado FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Virgilio Sol hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Machado FC's zone, Frederic Seurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Gejda came out of the goal and Frederic Seurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
