Jorge Barroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the match, KcobRepus's goalkeeper Jorge Barroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucílio Quintanilha. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucílio Quintanilha got free with Jorge Barroso in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucílio Quintanilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jorge Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandre Quirino could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Jorge Barroso however easily saved by the left post. Rui Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gentil Rocha in the 22nd minute of play. When Dércio Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the KcobRepus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dércio Quaresma couldn't finish the play. Rui Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dércio Quaresma in the 23rd minute of play. If Adolfo Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of KcobRepus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube Oriental De Lisboa:s goal. Armindo Bernardes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lucílio Quintanilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Linhares to make the kick off. Lucílio Quintanilha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Barroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Jacob Rego hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Armindo Bernardes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Barroso skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Barroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Barroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Linhares in the 67th minute of the match. Armindo Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jorge Barroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Oriental De Lisboa. Adolfo Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Barroso having to interfere. Gentil Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Clube Oriental De Lisboa's Rui Azevedo got control of the ball when Dércio Quaresma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dércio Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Azevedo having to interfere. Alberto Ribas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Clube Oriental De Lisboa's Armindo Bernardes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
