Spectators: 6831 (Terracing: 5005, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hélder Antunes kicked off to start the match. Ramón Silva in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romão Taborda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ramón Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romão Taborda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Timóteo Domingos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Brandão in the 21st minute of play forced F.C.Fitipaldi's goalkeeper Delfim Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, João Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hélder Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The F.C.Fitipaldi fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when F.C.Fitipaldi's Ramón Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 36 minutes of play, F.C.Fitipaldi's Augusto Palban made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romão Taborda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ebora's Romão Taborda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Palban in the 44th minute of play. Ebora's Romão Taborda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ebora from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timóteo Domingos to make the kick off. The supporters of Ebora booed when F.C.Fitipaldi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes F.C.Fitipaldi got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Solipa. After 54 played minutes, Ebora's Igor Leme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delfim Pinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ebora reached it. Alexandre Poças hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ramón Silva scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romão Taborda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquim Amorim lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 63 played minutes F.C.Fitipaldi got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Amorim. Ramón Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romão Taborda having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Ebora got a freekick which was hit by André Araújo. 69 minutes into the match, Ebora's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Silva came free, but Romão Taborda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match, Leal Lemos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delfim Pinto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to F.C.Fitipaldi getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gabriel Ribeiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, F.C.Fitipaldi's Gabriel Ribeiro got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, F.C.Fitipaldi's Delfim Pinto got control of the ball when Leal Lemos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Augusto Palban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romão Taborda came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.Fitipaldi's Ramón Silva. But to his dismay, Ramón Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Óscar Solipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C.Fitipaldi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
