Duarte Henriques took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lisandro Baldaia. Lisandro Baldaia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lisandro Baldaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Henriques in the 9th minute of play. If Duarte Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lisandro Baldaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Baldaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Campinos FC's Lúcio Tavares in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ariques FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lisandro Baldaia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Henriques's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Cândido Coimbra's late challenge caught a Ariques FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cândido Coimbra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Campinos FC's Cândido Coimbra got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Teodoro Anjos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Lisandro Baldaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Ariques FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Coimbra came free, but Lisandro Baldaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nicolau Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ariques FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolau Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Lúcio Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Baldaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Maia to make the kick off. When Cândido Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Campinos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Coimbra couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Duarte Henriques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Baldaia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lúcio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lisandro Baldaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Lúcio Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ariques FC's Lisandro Baldaia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lúcio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lisandro Baldaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lúcio Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ariques FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Campinos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
