In the 3rd match minute, Portelinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Veloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute Cristiano Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes SC Canidelo got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Wojtowicz. David Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Caetano in the 9th minute of play. André Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Canidelo's André Moreira got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jaroslaw Wojtowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Wojtowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Guterres having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Óscar Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Guterres was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. If Jaroslaw Wojtowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Jaroslaw Wojtowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Nicolau Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Gueifão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Canidelo's David Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Galvão in the 30th minute of play. Portelinha's João Guterres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Wojtowicz in the 31st minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Óscar Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portelinha's João Guterres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Óscar Borges in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Guterres saved Portelinha from getting behind. SC Canidelo's Vicente Ferro was substituted for Óscar Borges. In the 60th minute of the match, António Caetano got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Gueifão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th minute of the match SC Canidelo got a corner. Portelinha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vicente Ferro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jaroslaw Wojtowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Vicente Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaroslaw Wojtowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SC Canidelo fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when SC Canidelo's Vicente Ferro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the match, Manuel Faria notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Portelinha's João Guterres. João Guterres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Portelinha booed when SC Canidelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Wojtowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Ferro in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Guterres saved Portelinha from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the SC Canidelo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
