The supporters of Goja booed when Unidos ao Garfo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Aguiar missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 47 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Aquilino Sayvion right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Emanuel Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Sayvion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Donato Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Silva went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Donato Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélder Silva struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Donato Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidos ao Garfo FC. Unidos ao Garfo FC's Vasco Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amável Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Donato Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Silva's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Cândido Veiga struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goja players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Unidos ao Garfo FC.
