The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Benedito Espírito Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Badim FC's Daniel Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Espírito Santo in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Badim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Espírito Santo came free, but Daniel Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Benedito Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Lousada charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Lousada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Crescido FC booed when Badim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Lousada didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Mourato having to interfere. Joaquim Taborda charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Taborda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Badim FC booed when Crescido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Taborda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crescido FC's Benedito Espírito Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adérito Paixão in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Nascimento saved Badim FC from getting behind. Daniel Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adérito Paixão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute of the match, João Pinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelo Mourato was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Coutinho made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Adérito Paixão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crescido FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adérito Paixão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adérito Paixão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Nascimento having to interfere. Teófilo Baião struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Daniel Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crescido FC. If João Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Badim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adérito Paixão came free, but Daniel Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Badim FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pinho. Benedito Espírito Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Daniel Nascimento made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Palmeira during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Badim FC's goalkeeper Daniel Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Badim FC's zone, Adérito Paixão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Nascimento came out of the goal and Adérito Paixão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacob Trigueiro during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Badim FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Trigueiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Coutinho in the 95th minute of play forced Crescido FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Mourato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 played minutes Crescido FC got a freekick which was hit by Teófilo Baião. Marcelo Mourato came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Badim FC's Gil Coutinho. But to his dismay, Gil Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Badim FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Crescido FC for a fine match.
