Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) FC Alverca's Gustavo Faria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes SC Gravateira got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Álvares. Ricardo Domingos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Barros in the 7th minute. Gustavo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Madeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Machado having to make a save. Emanuel Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Alverca's goalkeeper Nuno Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Barros got free with Ricardo Domingos in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Gravateira's Ricardo Domingos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Pedroso in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Madeira to make the kick off. Gustavo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Vítor Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Domingos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Madeira in the 65th minute of play forced FC Alverca's goalkeeper Nuno Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes SC Gravateira got a freekick which was hit by Martinho Prestes. If Martinho Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Gustavo Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th match minute, SC Gravateira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Álvares to maneuver through the defense.
