The supporters of sport fc booed when FCP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Portela was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Patrício Gentil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sport fc and the FCP players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrício Gentil hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Paulo Portela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Paulo Portela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvano Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rúben Malafaia having to interfere. Rúben Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Portela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Abrantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79thth minute of the game Lucílio Baía who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCP's Saúl Moutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrique Abrantes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FCP's keeper Saúl Moutinho was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. sport fc were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FCP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Freitas took the corner. Adolfo Lima was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 86 minutes into the match, FCP's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Ruas came free, but Saúl Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Santana during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
