The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Albérico Vilarinho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BENFICA F C's Delfim Torres. Delfim Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delfim Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Lima in the 32nd minute of the match. Delfim Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albérico Vilarinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aprígio Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Resende in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Lima to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Catarino Resende cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aprígio Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BENFICA F C were furious when Cristiano Amorim was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Egídio Caneira missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 64 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Delfim Torres right hand side. Óscar Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The BENFICA F C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. We Make The Diference were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
