After 3 minutes, Lourenço Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zebras FC and the SC Santao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lourenço Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Gürhan Erçelik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gürhan Erçelik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SC Santao defense, Gürhan Erçelik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Nóbrega. The SC Santao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. Jaime Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürhan Erçelik went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 23 played minutes SC Santao got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Trindade. Lourenço Assunção got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 33rd minute, Gürhan Erçelik made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Nóbrega. SC Santao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, SC Santao's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Gomez came free, but Jaime Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Feliberto Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Nóbrega having to interfere. Gürhan Erçelik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Zebras FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Feliberto Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Feliberto Gomez took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Jaime Nóbrega to make any attempt to save it. Zebras FC's Feliberto Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match, Gürhan Erçelik got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jaime Nóbrega was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When SC Santao's Eliseu Malta in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zebras FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseu Malta took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Cardoso. Pedro Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Feliberto Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Nóbrega having to interfere. Zebras FC's Feliberto Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Zebras FC booed when SC Santao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Gentil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jaime Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute Feliberto Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Zebras FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Santao.
