But to his dismay, Guilherme Regalado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Guilherme Regalado took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Nóbrega. Jaime Nóbrega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If André Balsemão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Regalado in the 48th minute of the match.

53 minutes into the match, Campina's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Malta came free, but Josué Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jaime Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alcino Veríssimo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campina's Guilherme Regalado got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Balsemão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Santao's zone, Guilherme Regalado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Nóbrega came out of the goal and Guilherme Regalado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilherme Regalado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Trindade in the 73rd minute of play forced Campina's goalkeeper Josué Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Santao booed when Campina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Balsemão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Linhares went to the wrong direction when Jacinto Soeiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Jaime Trindade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Josué Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Campina's Josué Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Ramalho in the 87th minute of play. Guilherme Regalado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. The SC Santao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Campina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
