Virgílio Festas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipe Novais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Rodrigues having to interfere. Henrique Laureano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Barata having to interfere. Leonardo Noronha hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Paulino Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match Joaquim Porto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Rodrigues skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd minute Virgílio Festas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Festas in the 33rd minute of play forced SC Ilhavo's goalkeeper António Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Virgílio Festas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. António Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Filipe Novais came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the CF Serzedo SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Novais couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Henrique Laureano managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ilhavo's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Laureano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Barata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ilhavo's zone, Filipe Novais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Rodrigues came out of the goal and Filipe Novais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Filipe Novais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ilhavo's António Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgílio Festas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgílio Festas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of António Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, SC Ilhavo's goalkeeper António Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgílio Festas.
