In the 13th minute, S.L.EVAN's Hugo Leiria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to S.L.EVAN getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Henrique Matos hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Henrique Laureano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Leiria was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. S.L.EVAN's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carlos Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, SC Ilhavo's goalkeeper António Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Matos. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Laureano was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Amaro in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Rodrigues saved SC Ilhavo from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, SC Ilhavo's Paulino Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Carlos Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. António Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Amaro in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sérgio Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Leiria went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Armando Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Laureano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Matos hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Carlos Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Rodrigues having to interfere. António Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sérgio Pinto's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes SC Ilhavo got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Valério.
