Pêgo Negro United's Sandro Fontoura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Pêgo Negro United from getting a goal against them. Oliveira Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dinis o rei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Macedo should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zacarias Lousada hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Raul Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Fontoura was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Sandro Fontoura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Delgado in the 64th minute of play. Manuel Macedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zacarias Lousada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 65 minute of play. Manuel Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Guerra in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Raul Alves notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Pêgo Negro United's Sandro Fontoura. Sandro Fontoura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the match, Dinis o rei's goalkeeper Manuel Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Lousada. In the 81st minute, Zacarias Lousada made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Macedo. Dinis o rei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. When Diogo Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Dinis o rei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Delgado couldn't finish the play. Oliveira Ferreira took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Fontoura. Sandro Fontoura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. If Oliveira Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dinis o rei's Oliveira Ferreira in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pêgo Negro United's goalie prevented a goal. Raul Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinis o rei walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
