Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teodoro Quintanilha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 13th minute, Teodoro Quintanilha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rui Amaro. The goal made the score 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Luz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rui Amaro. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. 22 minutes in the game Nuno Nunes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alexandre Gaspar. Rui Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Lima in the 24th minute of the match. Teodoro Quintanilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, SCdsf's Gil Lima got a free kick in the 25th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SCdsf's Teodoro Quintanilha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rui Amaro. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Delgado in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Valido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 minutes, Augusto Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SCdsf and the Pico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Delgado to make the kick off. Teodoro Quintanilha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Amaro having to make a save. In the 67th match minute, SCdsf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higino Quirino to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Artur Delgado notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SCdsf's Jorge Valido. Jorge Valido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Artur Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Valido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Pico FC's Carlos Amaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Pico FC's Rui Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Quintanilha in the 87th minute of play. Pedro Colaço sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SCdsf's Jorge Valido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save SCdsf from getting a goal against them. SCdsf's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
