Hermenegildo Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jorge Valido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rúben Ribas got free with Jorge Valido in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Valido made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rúben Ribas sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Valido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermenegildo Camargo in the 13th minute of the match. Teodoro Quintanilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Paulino Abrantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Valido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermenegildo Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. ARC Valdevez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulino Moreira in the 26th minute. After 37 minutes, Augusto Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SCdsf and the ARC Valdevez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Luz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Paulino Abrantes came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by SCdsf's Teodoro Quintanilha. But to his dismay, Teodoro Quintanilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Teodoro Quintanilha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermenegildo Camargo to make the kick off. In the 66th minute of the game, Augusto Luz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 66 minutes into the game, Leonel Queiroga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARC Valdevez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SCdsf the free kick. SCdsf made a substitution. Joel Lustosa replaced Augusto Luz. In the 67th minute, Leonel Queiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Quintanilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute of the match Paulino Moreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Valido skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Valido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rúben Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Teodoro Quintanilha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Abrantes having to make a save. After having played for 84 minutes, Teodoro Quintanilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCdsf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Quintanilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Teodoro Quintanilha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ARC Valdevez booed when SCdsf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Quintanilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jorge Valido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARC Valdevez. SCdsf's Jorge Valido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Camargo in the 95th minute of play. The ARC Valdevez supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SCdsf's performance. The match ended with a win for SCdsf.
