The supporters of Machio FC booed when Poku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alcides Guterres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Machio FC's Moisés Pimenta stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Frederico Viana stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Poku of the goal. Alex Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Fagundes having to interfere. Jerónimo Garcez charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerónimo Garcez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Machio FC's Jerónimo Garcez got a free kick in the 13th minute. Joaquim Ferreira took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evandro Fagundes. Evandro Fagundes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Moisés Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Frederico Viana made a huge save. Frederico Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Raul Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Moisés Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Antero Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Vítor Varela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evandro Fagundes skillfully saved the ball. Jerónimo Garcez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Vítor Varela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Raul Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Veiga struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Evandro Fagundes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poku. After the first half Poku were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half. Frederico Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Alex Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes of play, Machio FC's Moisés Pimenta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederico Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Raul Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 70th minute Joaquim Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Fagundes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Poku got a freekick which was hit by Alex Veiga. Raul Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Fagundes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Alex Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poku's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Fagundes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evandro Fagundes made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alex Veiga sent off a good shot on target. Alex Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Machio FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
