Mariano Sá in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kevin Dassonville, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute, Mariano Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Dassonville was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 38th match minute, Ranhoca f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Paredes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ranhoca f.c. booed when SC Avenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Paulo Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Avenal's Armando Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Ranhoca f.c.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Jesus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Dantass short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Armando Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kevin Dassonville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joel Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SC Avenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Jesus couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes, Óscar Brás mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranhoca f.c. and the SC Avenal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes SC Avenal got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Vale. Ranhoca f.c.'s Kevin Dassonville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Leiria in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Miguel Paredes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Avenal's Mariano Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Dassonville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Sá in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Ranhoca f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Dantas to maneuver through the defense. SC Avenal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
