Reinaldo Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Matias in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Delfim Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viriato Sá went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Viriato Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinaldo Alvarenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Delfim Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Fradilhao's Sandro Correia threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolau Pires, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot by Cândido Passos from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Sandro Correia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Nicolau Pires came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Fradilhao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolau Pires couldn't finish the play. SC Prestimo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
