Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benedito Vargas got the match started through his kick off. Benedito Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cristóvão Fidalgo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Vargas in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Assis saved SC Campanha from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, SC Vermelhos's goalkeeper Marco Patrício had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Cunha. In the 26th minute Juvenal Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Patrício saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Campanha's zone, Severino Vital stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Assis came out of the goal and Severino Vital tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedito Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogo Assis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Vital's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juvenal Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SC Campanha's Diogo Assis got control of the ball when Severino Vital tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 59 in the game by Severino Vital from a close distance when the talented Diogo Assis managed to make a qualified save. SC Campanha's players were relieved. 60 minutes into the game, Benedito Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benedito Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Diogo Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Vital's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Diogo Assis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vicente Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Benedito Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Diogo Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Máximo Salvado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, SC Campanha's Juvenal Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Patrício narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the SC Vermelhos defense, Juvenal Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Patrício. The SC Vermelhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Patrício should have stopped the shot.
