Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Altino Bacelar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Haraky Skorpion Ko's goal looked a bit too open when David Fontoura came free, but Cláudio Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Vital fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Melo having to interfere. The supporters of Joaninho FC booed when Haraky Skorpion Ko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idalécio Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Vital struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Cláudio Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joaninho FC. David Fontoura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cláudio Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Vital got free with Cláudio Melo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olívio Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Moita in the 42nd minute of play. Joaninho FC's Olívio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altino Bacelar in the 44th minute of play. Cláudio Melo was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and David Fontoura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Fontoura really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when David Fontoura made the kick off in the second half. Joaninho FC's Olívio Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Joaninho FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altino Bacelar got free with Olívio Fernandes in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Aldo Moita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haraky Skorpion Ko's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Moita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olívio Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Ricardo Vital shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Fontoura in the 84th minute of play forced Haraky Skorpion Ko's goalkeeper Cláudio Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Moita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altino Bacelar got free with Olívio Fernandes in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes Joaninho FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Mendonça. Aldo Moita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Fernandes having to interfere. The Joaninho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Haraky Skorpion Ko's performance. The match ended with a win for Haraky Skorpion Ko.
