The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raul Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Modesto in the 3rd minute of play. Diogo Modesto spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Peixeninho's goal. Peixeninho's Raul Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Modesto in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Encho Saco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Amaro. Peixeninho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Encho Saco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Peixeninho's zone, Encho Saco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Amaro came out of the goal and Encho Saco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Hermes Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mini àguias's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermes Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Amaro came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mini àguias's Encho Saco. But to his dismay, Encho Saco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Mini àguias's Hermes Aleixo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Amaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Mini àguias's Encho Saco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Raul Amaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Encho Saco went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Raul Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Modesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Encho Saco came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mini àguias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Encho Saco couldn't finish the play. Amílcar Cunha struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Raul Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mini àguias. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Porfírio Vigário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Dantas in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Peixeninho's Jaime Sousa got a free kick in the 55th minute. José Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peixeninho's Raul Amaro got control of the ball when Encho Saco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Modesto in the 64th minute of play forced Peixeninho's goalkeeper Raul Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Encho Saco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Amaro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Peixeninho's zone, Encho Saco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Amaro came out of the goal and Encho Saco tried to chip the ball over his head. Alex Merlim was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. Encho Saco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Amaro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Diogo Modesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Encho Saco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mini àguias's supporters rose to their feet, but Encho Saco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, Peixeninho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Matos to maneuver through the defense. When Encho Saco came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Mini àguias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Encho Saco couldn't finish the play. Mini àguias's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
