With a left leg Américo Montenegro saved Chavelho FC from getting behind. Américo Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjálmar Kaaaas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Valério Caldeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fabrício Graça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valério Caldeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Graça having to interfere. Fabrício Graça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Baião, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Valério Caldeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fabrício Graça made a huge save. Ayvaz Nedret hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in INVICTA FC's zone, Hugo Baião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Graça came out of the goal and Hugo Baião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Basílio Graça fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INVICTA FC's protests and gave Basílio Graça a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, one of INVICTA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Parker in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Américo Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valério Caldeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hjálmar Kaaaas to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafim Sequeira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Peter Parker in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Américo Montenegro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 59th match minute, INVICTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayvaz Nedret to maneuver through the defense. Américo Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjálmar Kaaaas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Parker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Montenegro having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Chavelho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wei Yi Ao came free, but Américo Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Valério Caldeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when INVICTA FC's Hjálmar Kaaaas in the 77th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Américo Montenegro was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chavelho FC through an amazing save. In the 79th minute, Chavelho FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hjálmar Kaaaas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chavelho FC's Valério Caldeira got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hjálmar Kaaaas came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the INVICTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hjálmar Kaaaas couldn't finish the play. INVICTA FC's Otmar Umlauf managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Serafim Sequeira in the 93 minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Américo Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chavelho FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
