SC Altardo's Carlos Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micael Monteiro in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Micael Monteiro in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 8 minutes, Micael Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leziria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micael Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Palma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastião Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Leziria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Nunes came free, but Gabriel Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leziria FC's Gabriel Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Henriques in the 20th minute of play. Gabriel Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Nunes in the 24th minute of play. Sebastião Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gabriel Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alexandre Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Henriques to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Palma was a little too slow when Alexandre Henriques got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. When Alexandre Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Altardo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Henriques couldn't finish the play. Alípio Câmara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Henriques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Palma was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rdth minute of the game Alexandre Henriques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leziria FC's Gabriel Palma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alexandre Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Sebastião Nunes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gabriel Palma, passed just outside the right post.
