Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Inter Porto's Estevão Antunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Durval Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Alípio Ornelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners's zone, Estevão Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarco Seixas came out of the goal and Estevão Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Estevão Antunes in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarco Seixas saved Gunners from getting behind. Zarco Seixas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cyprian Kisiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Zarco Seixas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Estevão Antunes in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aprígio Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Inter Porto's Silvestre França got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes of play, Inter Porto's Silvestre França made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zarco Seixas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cyprian Kisiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estevão Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Estevão Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvestre França kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Estevão Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarco Seixas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zarco Seixas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevão Antunes in the 43rd minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Alexandrino Barcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunners and the Inter Porto players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gunners getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alexandrino Barcelos hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Cyprian Kisiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarco Seixas having to interfere. Zarco Seixas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Estevão Antunes went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A nice corner shot did that Ronaldo Castelo Branco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zarco Seixas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Estevão Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Inter Porto's Estevão Antunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zarco Seixas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Cyprian Kisiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Porto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A collision led to Inter Porto getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Amadeu Guerreiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners's zone, Estevão Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarco Seixas came out of the goal and Estevão Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aprígio Sanches's late challenge caught a Inter Porto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aprígio Sanches helped the player get up and apologised. Inter Porto's Silvestre França got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Estevão Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunners's Zarco Seixas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Paixão got free with Alípio Ornelas in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvestre França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners's zone, Pedro Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarco Seixas came out of the goal and Pedro Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gunners's Alexandrino Barcelos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The audience was convinced that Estevão Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zarco Seixas was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Inter Porto had played much better football throughout.
