SCP Pargo's Idalécio Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Lima in the 10th minute of play. Jerónimo Barata kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Vasco Serpa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SCP Pargo and the Glorioso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Leal Lima had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 18th match minute, SCP Pargo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Henriques to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SCP Pargo's Josué Águas got a free kick in the 21st minute. Vicente Barroso hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Idalécio Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angélico Macena in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Glorioso's Gabriel Garcez got control of the ball when Estevão Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Josué Águas came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the SCP Pargo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Águas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angélico Macena in the 44th minute of play forced SCP Pargo's goalkeeper Idalécio Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, SCP Pargo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Serpa to maneuver through the defense. If Angélico Macena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Estevão Miranda struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Garcez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCP Pargo. A collision led to Glorioso getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Teodoro Bernardes hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Angélico Macena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute of the match, Angélico Macena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Idalécio Portugal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Reginaldo Castanheira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SCP Pargo's Vasco Serpa got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão Miranda in the 80th minute of play forced Glorioso's goalkeeper Gabriel Garcez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
