Thanks to some nice moves Aparício Saraiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Delfim Correia however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Caldeira in the 25th minute of play forced Reixida's goalkeeper Delfim Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Reixida's Nuno Moutinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacob Calado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Sandro Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacob Calado. Amantes Latinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Caldeira to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Amantes Latinos's goalkeeper Jacob Calado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Moutinho. When Afonso Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reixida's protests and gave Afonso Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Reixida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Calado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Amantes Latinos's Paulo Caldeira made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Caldeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Delfim Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amantes Latinos's Jacob Calado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Maia in the 86th minute of play. If Nuno Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Caldeira in the 89th minute of the match. Sandro Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Calado having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Reixida had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
