In the 12th minute Klement Nowak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Fiúza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cândido Alves made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Severino Lima sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Bombarralense F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Diego Mafra came free, but Cândido Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Timóteo Vilhena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curval FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timóteo Vilhena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Curval FC's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Nowak came free, but Simão Fiúza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ricardo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes, Bombarralense F. C.'s Max Machleid shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Simão Fiúza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bombarralense F. C. reached it. Severino Lima scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cândido Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Klement Nowak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curval FC's Simão Fiúza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th match minute, Curval FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Mafra to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klement Nowak to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Klement Nowak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Fiúza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Mota's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Simão Fiúza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot by Gonçalo Sá from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Simão Fiúza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bombarralense F. C.'s Klement Nowak got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Fiúza made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Klement Nowak sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Borges hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jerry Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Curval FC's Simão Fiúza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Curval FC from getting a goal against them. Klement Nowak in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simão Fiúza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Curval FC were furious when Aldo Veiga was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Jerry Berg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Simão Fiúza made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Klement Nowak sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Curval FC's goalkeeper Simão Fiúza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klement Nowak. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
