Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Luís Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Midoes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Balbeira's Vicente Gonçalves got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Lucas Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Balbeira's Marco Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Correia in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Rocha having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, SC Balbeira's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Correia came free, but Marco Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Marco Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Correia in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. The Midoes FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Midoes FC's António Gueifão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucas Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marco Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armindo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Bessa in the 64th minute of play. If Lucas Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Midoes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Gonçalves came free, but Armindo Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Lucas Correia put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Rocha. Vicente Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Armindo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joaquim Faro fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Balbeira's protests and gave Joaquim Faro a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. After 93 played minutes SC Balbeira got a freekick which was hit by Raul Silva. Lucas Correia in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Rocha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. António Bessa struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Armindo Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Balbeira. Midoes FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
