If Henrique Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Selho FC booed when SC Ferrel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Máximo Barcelos struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Duarte Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selho FC. A hard shot 16 in the game by Henrique Martins from a close distance when the talented Tomé Bernardes managed to make a qualified save. Selho FC's players were relieved. Torcato Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Anjos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Martins in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Bernardes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Selho FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermano Malafaia. Eduardo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Bernardes having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Torcato Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Selho FC's Torcato Delgado in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Ferrel's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Teixeira during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vítor Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Torcato Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Anjos having to interfere. Henrique Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tomé Bernardes made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Alexandre Fonseca notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Selho FC's Tomé Bernardes. Tomé Bernardes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, one of Selho FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Selho FC. Tomé Bernardes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Santos in the 65th minute of the match. Henrique Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomé Bernardes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Selho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Martins came free, but Tomé Bernardes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Freitas during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrique Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tomé Bernardes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Henrique Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Ferrel had won after a very even match.
