Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Egídio Valadares kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the game, Ramiro Prates cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Caetano Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Egídio Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Regateiras's protests and gave Egídio Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. Egídio Valadares hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimas Campelo in the 13th minute of play forced SC Regateiras's goalkeeper Donato Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ojurbal FC's Caetano Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Valadares in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Egídio Valadares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Caetano Guimarães. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 18th minute, Rodrigo Macena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 minutes, Belchior Baião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ojurbal FC and the SC Regateiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Lessa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ojurbal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Regateiras the free kick. 28 minutes into the game, one of Ojurbal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for SC Regateiras. Rodolfo Laureano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Caetano Guimarães. 4-0. Sebastião Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Regateiras's zone, Sebastião Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Bragança came out of the goal and Sebastião Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Valadares in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes in the game, Egídio Valadares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Caetano Guimarães having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimas Campelo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Regateiras's Frederico Freire got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Dimas Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Bragança saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimas Campelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Bragança. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimas Campelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimas Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Bragança having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Jorge Peralta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Regateiras and the Ojurbal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Regateiras's Jorge Peralta got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ramiro Prates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Guimarães having to interfere. Rui Garcia hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ramiro Prates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caetano Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to SC Regateiras getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jorge Peralta hit a great ball. Sebastião Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Regateiras were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ojurbal FC for a fine match.
