The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Miranda hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sebastião Galvão scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristóvão Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Dimas Campelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caetano Guimarães came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by EsticaFC's António Jesus. But to his dismay, António Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 21st match minute, Ojurbal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Macena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Jesus in the 31st minute of play forced Ojurbal FC's goalkeeper Caetano Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimas Campelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cristóvão Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Guimarães having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimas Campelo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rui Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of EsticaFC booed when Ojurbal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Laureano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Matos in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Ojurbal FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dimas Campelo hit a great ball. In the 76th match minute, EsticaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Guarda to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ojurbal FC's goalkeeper Caetano Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodrigo Macena charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Macena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristóvão Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimas Campelo in the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ojurbal FC had won after a very even match.
