Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristiano Freitas started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torcato Abrantes got free with Fernando Brás in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Cristiano Freitas in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Veríssimo Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Jorge Rios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pontao FC and the Rapoza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristiano Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Freitas in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veríssimo Carneiro saved Pontao FC from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Rapoza's goalkeeper Fernando Brás had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torcato Abrantes. Gabriel Taveira made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rapoza's Jorge Viana. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Rapoza's Cristiano Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Veríssimo Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Vilalobos in the 79th minute of play forced Rapoza's goalkeeper Fernando Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Brás came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Pontao FC's Torcato Abrantes. But to his dismay, Torcato Abrantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cristiano Freitass short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Veríssimo Carneiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 87th minute, Torcato Abrantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Brás was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fernando Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Corte-Real, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pontao FC could leave the field as winners, despite Rapoza having more of the ball for most of the match.
