Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moisés Travassos kicked off to start the match. Henrique Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Esparteiro having to interfere. Heitor Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Amado Esparteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Abades. SC Ucha's Amado Esparteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Teixeira in the 6th minute of play. Xavier Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Travassos's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When Henrique Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SC Abades fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Teixeira couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Gusmão Nóbrega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavier Nunes. SC Abades's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gusmão Nóbrega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th match minute, SC Ucha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Vilalobos to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Pinheiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Esparteiro having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, SC Abades's Heitor Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Esparteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heitor Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Amado Esparteiro made a huge save. Henrique Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Esparteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Henrique Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Esparteiro having to interfere. When Egídio Caldeira fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ucha's protests and gave Egídio Caldeira a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes SC Ucha got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Caldeira. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 46th minute, when SC Abades's Pedro Cardoso after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Amado Esparteiro in SC Ucha's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Amado Esparteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Teixeira in the 47th minute of play. After the first half SC Ucha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Pinheiro in the 57th minute of play forced SC Ucha's goalkeeper Amado Esparteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Esparteiro having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SC Ucha's Xavier Nunes threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moisés Travassos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xavier Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Travassos in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Henrique Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Plácido Lessa might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavier Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Plácido Lessa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd match minute, SC Ucha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusmão Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ucha's zone, Heitor Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Esparteiro came out of the goal and Heitor Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Heitor Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Esparteiro was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Amado Esparteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Pinheiro in the 97th minute of the match. SC Abades's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sandro Abreu in the 99th minute. Manuel Nascimento was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. SC Ucha were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SC Abades's much stronger midfield.
