Simão Carvalho's late challenge caught a FC Coscomtech's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Coscomtech booed when F.C.Lordelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 25 played minutes, F.C.Lordelo's Alberto Coimbra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquim Mendes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C.Lordelo reached it. Gustavo Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Monteiro in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, F.C.Lordelo's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Alves came free, but Gustavo Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Rui Alves notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of F.C.Lordelo's Gustavo Nogueira. Gustavo Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Rui Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Nogueira. F.C.Lordelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Joaquim Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Coimbra in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, FC Coscomtech's Rui Alves made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Nogueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Coimbra in the 58th minute of play forced FC Coscomtech's goalkeeper Joaquim Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Leite hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Júlio Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to F.C.Lordelo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Daniel Carvalho hit a great ball. If Lucas Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, FC Coscomtech's Gustavo Nogueira threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano Monteiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 72 minutes into the match, FC Coscomtech's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Dias came free, but Joaquim Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes FC Coscomtech got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Viana. Alberto Coimbra, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Monteiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Nogueira. That made the score 0-5 in the 93 minute of play. FC Coscomtech were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over F.C.Lordelo's much stronger midfield.
