Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Oliveira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bruce Langdon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Boco's Daniel Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Freitas in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Romão Figueiredo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bruce Langdon. After a defensive mix-up in FC Garridos's zone, Filipe Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Langdon came out of the goal and Filipe Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruce Langdon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romão Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bruce Langdon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Romão Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bruce Langdon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Boco's Daniel Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Boco from getting a goal against them. Bruce Langdon came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Boco's David Oliveira. But to his dismay, David Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.

The wind increased when Carlos Freitas made the kick off in the second half. Romão Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bruce Langdon made a huge save. A hard shot 60 in the game by Romão Figueiredo from a close distance when the talented Bruce Langdon managed to make a qualified save. FC Garridos's players were relieved. After 61 played minutes FC Garridos got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Brás. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Romão Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Boco's supporters rose to their feet, but Romão Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruce Langdon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, FC Garridos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Santarém to maneuver through the defense. When Romão Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SC Boco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romão Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as David Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruce Langdon. That made the score 2-4 in the 73 minute of play. Romão Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruce Langdon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romão Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Alcântara having to interfere. FC Garridos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when David Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Bruce Langdon, making the score, 2-5. 89 minutes into the game, FC Garridos's Carlos Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Afonso Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
