Evandro Madeira kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Canelas 2010's zone, Paulo Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Passos came out of the goal and Paulo Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Canelas 2010 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tomás Dias hit a great ball. Canelas 2010's Sandro Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Viana in the 20th minute of play. Sandro Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Viana in the 26th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Sokratis Mamalakis made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Canelas 2010's Sandro Passos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandro Passos came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Papatoitoi's Paulo Viana. But to his dismay, Paulo Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Sokratis Mamalakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Passos was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes in the game David Machado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Paulo Viana. Tomás Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Ramsamy having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sokratis Mamalakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Papatoitoi booed when Canelas 2010 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Madeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sokratis Mamalakis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes Papatoitoi got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Viana. Papatoitoi's António Viana managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nuno Igrejas in the 67 minute of the game. With a little luck, Canelas 2010's Sandro Passos got control of the ball when Paulo Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomás Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Ramsamy having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Papatoitoi got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Viana. Tomás Dias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Paulo Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Sandro Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Mamalakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Canelas 2010 got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Igrejas. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Papatoitoi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
