SC Especiosa's players were relieved. Rui Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Matos having to interfere. Fábio Aleixo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Altino Padilha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Jacinto Trindade fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 40th minute, Corgas FC's Fábio Aleixo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Altino Padilha. Altino Padilha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Corgas FC's Fábio Aleixo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, SC Especiosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Quinaz to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, SC Especiosa's goalkeeper Altino Padilha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Aleixo. After a rather tough play, SC Especiosa's Amadeu Quinaz got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Garcia made a kick off. A collision led to Corgas FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jacinto Trindade hit a great ball. Altino Padilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Garcia in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fábio Aleixo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Altino Padilha was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When Rui Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Corgas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Garcia couldn't finish the play. Marcos Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nuno Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Altino Padilha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corgas FC. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Nuno Matos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, Carlos Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Cristiano Vilhena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Matos having to make a save. Corgas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Especiosa for a fine match.
