After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Meião's zone, Cristóvão Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Araújo came out of the goal and Cristóvão Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lalo Benedicto kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Lalo Benedicto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Trindade's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Cláudio Araújo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Manuel Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Manuel Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deveseira's Manuel Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24 played minutes Deveseira got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Sá. Manuel Baptista came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Meião's Manuel Faro. But to his dismay, Manuel Faro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 41stth minute of the game Adolfo Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deveseira's Manuel Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Faro to make the kick off. Manuel Faro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Manuel Baptista 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Silva in the 56th minute of play forced Deveseira's goalkeeper Manuel Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adolfo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Manuel Baptista managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Inter de Meião's Manuel Faro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 63 minutes into the game, Inter de Meião's Manuel Faro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Baptista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Inter de Meião's Alexandre Guarda got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Alexandre Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Adolfo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Deveseira's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Santarém came free, but Manuel Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Deveseira's Luís Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cláudio Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Faro ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Manuel Faro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Baptista was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Cristiano Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
