In the 18th minute, Manuel lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Pacheco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21st minute, one of OPO Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for OPO Futebol Clube. 35 minutes into the match, Nuno Leiria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Jesus, 2-2. Bernardo Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Leiria in the 38th minute of play. Nuno Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Jesus having to interfere. In the 45th minute, OPO Futebol Clube's Nuno Leiria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Jesus. Bernardo Jesus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Leiria to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Nuno Leiria notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Wolfes FC's Bernardo Jesus. Bernardo Jesus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Bernardo Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Leiria in the 66th minute of play. When Filipe Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the OPO Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Moutinho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Wolfes FC's zone, Filipe Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Jesus came out of the goal and Filipe Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Leiria in the 72nd minute of the match. Nuno Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Fábio Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolfes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OPO Futebol Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wolfes FC's Fábio Luz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Nuno Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bernardo Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Moutinho in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Jesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When OPO Futebol Clube's Filipe Moutinho in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolfes FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolfes FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Nuno Leiria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Jesus. Wolfes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Leiria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. OPO Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
