Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5387, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aprígio Bezerra kicked off to start the match. Quintino Lucena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jorge Brás made a huge save. Isaac Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Fonseca having to interfere. Jorge Brás made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Quintino Lucena sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Hugo Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Sapos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARC Moinhos the free kick. Nuno Travassos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Brás. SC Sapos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 19 minutes, Nuno Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARC Moinhos and the SC Sapos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ARC Moinhos! Joel Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Quintino Lucena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jorge Brás made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Máximo Candal sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Hugo Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aprígio Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the ARC Moinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aprígio Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Joel Tavares scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Éder Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duarte Assunção was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of SC Sapos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ARC Moinhos:s goal. Jorge Brás had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Hermenegildo Fagundes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Hermenegildo Fagundes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Brás. SC Sapos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermenegildo Fagundes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Leal to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes SC Sapos got a freekick which was hit by Matias Miliano. In the 56th minute of the match Nuno Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Brás showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Sapos's Jorge Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aprígio Bezerra in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Nuno Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sapos's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éder Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Éder Fonseca made a huge save. SC Sapos's Jorge Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Bento in the 71st minute of play. If Nuno Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Fonseca having to interfere. ARC Moinhos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nuno Leal 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. The supporters of SC Sapos booed when ARC Moinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Sacramento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nuno Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, ARC Moinhos's goalkeeper Éder Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Leal. ARC Moinhos's Quintino Lucena got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, SC Sapos's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Bento came free, but Jorge Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Sapos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
